The way that I perceive and digest the world that we live in, is through the written word. Whereas my spoken words are usually bluntly scattered, my thoughts become fully cohesive on paper. When I was young I wanted to be Britney Spears and become an astronaut. I first started college with a business major. I failed spectacularly, leading to my advisor, at the time, telling me that I should withdraw from the University. I graduated in four years with a degree in Creative Writing. I followed my passion for writing poetry and found new passions in advocating for social justice, intersectional feminism, and sustainable non-profits, through blogging. I have dabbled in advertising, administrative work, communications within Universities, non-profit coordinating, and teaching.
I’m not sure how to write a bio that isn’t a dating profile or resume. My name is Madeleine Clow, I am twenty-five years old, I use she/her/hers pronouns, I am a Virgo sun, Capricorn moon, and Pisces rising. I’m an introverted night owl who's a serial binge watcher of anything funny or terrifying. I’ve recently started to dive into spiritualism and have been practicing living in the moment. I believe the meaning of life is to love and be loved. Intimate relationships with other people are the key to a fulfilled life, no matter the setbacks or missteps you may encounter.
My partner is Mak. She uses she/her/hers pronouns, is twenty-six years old, is a Virgo sun, Capricorn moon, and Taurus rising. We have had our fair share of trials and tribulations, having been together in total, four years in December 2022. (It took us quite a bit of math and date checking to pinpoint the true length of our relationship.)
She would describe herself as, “a witty Texan (where she only spent her first two years) country girl, lover of the outdoors, charming, good looking, a cutie with a bootie, a chef, a dog and cat lover, an omnivore, let’s see. . . an aspiring photographer and mountaineer, free-spirited. . . loving. . . you should add music lover, I really enjoy music. . . and an optimist, and a ball of anxiety.”
